Hungover, broke and semi-comatose, we nursed our woes with bacon baguettes, Netflix, and glorious news—our insurance payout had hit! Cue seafood feasts, vodka tonics, and octopus earrings…

Pai welcomed us with reggae tunes, dodgy one-liners about yoghurt, and an accidental beard tragedy. We traded sunshine for fevers, but hey, survival + rum = an adventure, right?

Tonsillitis, dodgy soup, and a whirlwind dash through no man's land: our visa run from Pai to Myanmar had it all. Sleep-deprived, noodle-spilling, and slightly bewildered, we survived. Just.

One bike, two dodgy hills, and three awkward “do you want a joint?” encounters later, we found slacklining comedians, thermal spas, and our ultimate weakness—cold pools. Ready for the next adventure!
